Software for PDA-based data collectors (SCAN1001)

This software was designed for warehouse/goods data collecting and processing with mobile (PDA-based) device, which is equipped with integrated barcode scanner.  Device works under Windows CE operating system.

It is possible to work in two different operating modes. In Off-line mode device has no network connection to the main database. Thus scanned warehouse goods data are cached into internal SQL CE database until device will be attached back to the computer network for data synchronization. Conversely, in the On-line operting mode device has wireless (i. e. WiFi or Bluetooth) connection to the network, so scanned data are sent directly to the main database.

Also system has administrative module which works on PC side. This module is designed for system set-up and further data processing in main database, as well as export  or import.

Main database works on Microsoft SQL Server platform. In mobile device side, local (cache) database works on Microsoft SQL Server CE Edition.

Program has also licence based protecition against unauthorized copying.
